Led by Pastor Vic and Maricris Espejo, HMC is a vibrant, family centred church based in the heart of Lower Hutt. Everyone is welcome. We have members of all ages and backgrounds and we would love for you to join us.

Everyone at HMC has a story to tell. We have all experienced the love of Christ in our deepest valleys and our mountain tops. If you need prayer, a friend to chat with or simply want to know more about Jesus and His love, we are here to share that with you.

 

Growing in the love of Jesus Christ

HMC believes in the power and importance of God’s word in our lives. Aside from our Sunday services, we have a number of bible study groups that meet weekly. We also have specific ministry groups (worship, prayer, youth & young adults, women’s, men’s and children) that teach and encourage members to understand God’s will for their lives.

 

HMC also believes that everyone has a God-given talent – we are committed to fostering that talent, allowing people to grow, explore and develop confidence in using that talent.

 

Serving others through the love of Jesus Christ

HMC is full of hearts that want to serve. We are here to serve those in our church and in our community. Whether that be offering a ride, helping you to move house or raising money for a cause.

 

We have permanent overseas missions. Every month we send funds to churches in Bohol and Laguna, Philippines to support the financial needs of these churches, education programmes, disaster relief and community outreach programmes.
